Walekett Expeditions is a travel agency located in Riohacha focused on social tourism. It seeks to highlight the talents and improve the quality of life of the Wayuus through the elaboration and sale of handicrafts. This agency offers tourists the possibility of interacting with indigenous communities. The purpose is to provide unique experiences that allow showing the department’s cultural wealth and biodiversity. They have several affordable tour packages for different parts of La Guajira, mostly different sites are grouped in each of the expeditions. Some of the Tours are destined for La Alta Guajira, Cabo de La Vela, Punta Gallinas, Serranía de Macuira, El Cerrejón, Mayapo Beaches, Palomino Beaches, among others.
